When people say squats arent needed to build big legs I laugh. Every great competitor squatted with the exception of dorian yates, but his legs werent massive either. They were dense but not really detailed and “WOW” in size. Squats are the foundation to building massive legs in my opinion. Not only will they help build big quads, but develop glutes and hamstrings which will transpire on stage to more detailed. Today big legs are not common anymore, nor is shredded glutes or hamstring. I fully believe this is due to less people squating and not truly training legs hard enough. People will argue my opinion on this but, results dont lie. Look at history and what they have done.
